THROUGH THE BLOODLINES

It's in the DNA.

My history with animals pretty much starts from inception. My beloved Grandmother Jean had a farm full of horses, birds and dogs. She was a Biology lecturer and successfully bred German Shepherds. Instead of getting up to mischief as a child, I was running around with a pack of German Shepherds, learning how to look after them and everything else in between. The hands-on experience I gained from helping my Grandmother Jean care for her dogs (into my late twenties) laid the foundation for my expertise in animal nutrition and herbalism. It was through this early exposure that my thirst for knowledge was nurtured. She was always educating me on alternative holistic therapies, breeding, raising well adjusted puppies and how good quality food was all linked to longevity.

Humble beginnings at The Raw Superstore

In 2018, I chose to pursue my aspirations and establish The Raw Superstore in Runcorn, Cheshire. I have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and have always prioritised following my passions. I wanted to educate the everyday pet owner about raw food for cats and dogs, and how we can make better choices for our pets in relation to nutrition. The experience I have gained by having a store is absolutely invaluable. Dealing with real-life customers everyday with different concerns and, how we can help relieve them naturally is something you can't put a price on. My skills are always brushed up by attending industry seminars, courses and reading the latest research but nothing can teach you what having a physical business can. The Raw Superstore has helped over 60,000 pet owners throughout the years and continues to do so.

I am a highly spiritual being, that believes in divine guidance and this is heavily reflected in our mission at Ancestral. We absolutely adore our pets. We want them to live the longest, healthiest life we can possibly give them. This is Enzo. He is my other half. He is my best friend. He works with me. I want him to live with me for as long as the universe blesses him to do so and, this is what inspires my mission.
